Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing is important as it affects everything we do in our lives.  Mindfully Aware provides a variety of courses  to help you to improve your overall Mental Health and Wellbeing with training in organisations and with individuals.  These include Mindfulness based courses to help the individual and Mental Health First Aid Training to help others and spot the early signs of someone who may be struggling.

What does Mental Health and Wellbeing include?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being.  It affects how we think, feel, and act.  It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.  Mental Health and Wellbeing is important at every stage of life and is virtually inseparable from physical wellbeing.

Mental illness is the second-largest source of burden of disease in England and are more common, long-lasting and impactful than other health conditions.

Poor mental health and wellbeing impacts on on all of us as individuals and in our families, in lost income, lower educational attainment, quality of life and a much shorter life span.  In addition over a third of the public think people with a mental health issue are likely to be violent -not true.  It is vital that we educate ourselves in recognising poor mental health in ourselves and others to help us live a long happy life.
